Requirements for registration:
Acceptable and valid ID such as Passport, government-issued driver’s license, military identification card and national identification card (non-digital).

Rescheduling:
- Rescheduling can be done at any time via myPTE account.
- If done 14 days or more before the test date, no fee will be charged.
- If done 8-13 days before the test date, the charge will be 50% of the rescheduled test fee.
- If done 7 days or fewer before the test date, the charge will be full for the new test booking.
Cancellation:
Cancellation can be done at any time via myPTE account. If done 14 days or more before the test date, one will receive a full refund. If done 8-13 days before the test date, one will receive a 50% refund of the original test fee. If done 7 days or fewer before the test date, one will not receive a refund of any kind.

Number of tests:
No limit to the number of tests one can take. However, they must wait to receive the scores of the previous test in order to book another slot.

Scores:
- There is an Overall Score between 10 and 90, which grades one’s English ability against the Global Scale of English.
- There are also individual scores for Communicative Skills – speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Skills profile shows guidance on one’s performance across eight language skill categories and helps with recommendations to help one further strengthen their English skills.
