Academic Requirements:

⦿ Up to 2 professional references (optional)
⦿ Current resume/curriculum vitae
⦿ Application essay (5-6 pages) which connects the MI program and career goals to the Information Management profession.
⦿ Proof of English language proficiency with high score (IELTS 8.0). Requirement waived for applicants who have completed a degree at a recognized university where the language of instruction is English.

The MI prepares students to connect people with information, and to contribute to the information management profession. Emerging workplace opportunities are centered around digital transformation, data, community engagement and human centred design; graduates go on to employment as librarians, archivists, information managers, information architects, data managers and user design experts.
