Lakehead University is a public research university with campuses in Thunder Bay and Orillia, Ontario, Canada. Integrating tools from many disciplines, including mathematics, computer science, biology, chemistry, and physics, this discipline is helping to expand our understanding of biological systems. Whether designing a new life-saving drug, decoding a complex genome sequence, or developing programming to analyze medical images, Bioinformaticians are leading the next stage of scientific evolution.
