The University of Canberra, also known as UC and Australia’s Capital University, is a university located in Canberra, ACT, the national capital of Australia. UC offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses covering five faculties: Health, Art and Design, Business, Government and Law, Education and Science and Technology. We are situated in Bruce, a north-western suburb of Canberra, well-served by public transport and within easy reach.

The Bachelor of Hospitality Management provides graduates with the skills required for supervisory and managerial roles within the hospitality and related service industries. During your course you will learn how to find out who your customers are, what they want and need, as well as how to provide it both on time and to the highest possible standard. To equip you for this complex and fast paced workforce you will need a combination of theoretical knowledge taught by our experienced lecturers and practical skills which are learnt through classes held in our onsite restaurants and a 24 week placement with one of the many world class establishments we have connections with. Through this practical application of theory and concepts you will develop a broad based understanding of hospitality and management so that both you and your future employer will be able to stand out from the competition.
