University Of Canberra

The University of Canberra, also known as UC and Australia’s Capital University, is a university located in Canberra, ACT, the national capital of Australia. UC offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses covering five faculties: Health, Art and Design, Business, Government and Law, Education and Science and Technology. We are situated in Bruce, a north-western suburb of Canberra, well-served by public transport and within easy reach.

Master of Teaching

⦿ Applicants must possess a degree from a tertiary institution or an equivalent qualification including at least one major of discipline-specific study relevant secondary school curriculum and preferably at least one minor of discipline-specific study relevant secondary school curriculum in a different discipline. Academics IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 on each band
The Master of Teaching provides a professional preparation for students interested in working as a teacher in a secondary (7-12) school setting. (A primary (K-6) pathway is not currently available in this degree). It provides students with a sound theoretical base for teaching along with opportunities to develop a repertoire of professional skills. Through the course students build skills in evidence-based professional decision making as well as in planning and implementing effective teaching
