University of The Fraser Valley

The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), (formerly known as University College of the Fraser Valley and Fraser Valley College) is a Canadian public university with campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission and Hope, British Columbia Founded in 1974 as Fraser Valley College, it was a response to the need for expanded vocational training in the communities of the Fraser Valley.

The Associate of Arts degree is a formal two-year credential that recognizes the successful completion of a two-year academic program. It also serves as an intermediate qualification for students wishing to transfer to UFV degree programs or other educational institutions, or as a qualification for employment. Students have four options to complete the general requirements or pursue studies in specific concentrations. General option International and Development Studies option Media and Communication Studies option Theater option
